We call this series of 8 designs our Lifestyle Classics, and we can build each one of these decks for under $12,000. However, keep in mind size and site conditions could affect the final cost.
No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you! Archadeck of Akron can add a high-quality, well-built deck to your home for less than $12,000. Our Lifestyle Classics decks are all timeless designs, and they work well for nearly every home and yard. We’ve created a gallery of these decks under $12,000 so you can see which designs resonate with you.
First, the decks in our Lifestyle Classics series are pre-designed—but NOT pre-fabricated. These designs have already been drafted by the engineering and drafting team who create our architectural drawings/renderings at Archadeck headquarters. Using pre-approved designs saves time and money simply because these eight decks don’t need to be drafted from scratch. We do build them from scratch however, one board at a time.
Second, to keep these decks under $12,000, we build them with pressure-treated wood, our most affordable building material. Many homeowners prefer wood decks, and we build quite a few wooden decks every year. Budget-conscious homeowners who dream of having a new deck appreciate the fact that choosing to build with wood can keep that dream within reach.
Not Just Decks, but Custom Decks for Akron-area Homeowners

The elements that determine the cost of any deck include its size and the materials we use to build it. It’s possible that your desire for additional customization may take the price of your deck to more than $12,000. For example, if you have your heart set on low-maintenance composite decking, we can use a composite decking product instead of pressure-treated pine. That change in materials will increase the deck cost to more than $12,000. This composite deck, however, will still be less expensive than a composite deck that’s larger and designed from scratch. You’ll save money with one of our Lifestyle Classics regardless of what materials you choose.
We’ll be completely transparent with you when it comes to your deck cost. As we talk about customization, we’ll let you know what kinds of customization will push the cost over $12K and what customization will not.
