Using one of Texas’ favorite natural resource building materials, Lueders Stone, our custom design team created two works of home improvement art – at the home front entrance, as well as at the rear of this home in the family’s backyard.
A Lueders Stone Patio Addition Was The First Part Of This Home Improvement Upgrade
If you are not familiar with Lueders Stone, it is a tried-and-true Texas limestone that is sawn on top and bottom. It contains a rich variation in gradients and colors, including buff, light gold, dove gray, and even deep gold.
Lueders limestone originates from a well-established stone quarry in North Texas and has a range of colors and textures. Native to North Texas, this rectangular-shaped limestone showcases abundant shades of charcoal and gray.
Lueders natural stone veneer presents a timeless classic look to any application. Formal sawn heights in buff, white, cream, and brown have made this popular for pool coping or wall cladding.
As evidenced here, Lueders Stone slabs are a great home or building stone project option. They have a sophisticated finish with grey and beige tones on both sides. Lueders limestone is a cost-effective building product because of its durability and low maintenance requirements.
Texas limestone mainly consists of calcite. It has a smooth, granular surface and does not show a graining or crystalline structure. Typical colors for limestone are blacks, grays, whites, yellows, or browns. It is more apt to stain than marble and it gets its lime from seawater.

Our team used 2 by 4 Lueders Stone in Mountain Brown. At the very center, we custom crafted a rectangular broken mosaic installation for heightened visual interest – a beautiful aesthetic complement.
In Addition To The New Backyard Patio, We Also Upgraded The Front Entry Of The Home
Using the same Lueders Stone in Mountain Brown, we also upgraded the front of this Georgetown home, adding a border that is a lighter color than the patio field. Gorgeous, if we do say so ourselves.
