There is this North Shelby county deck builder who was contacted by homeowners in the Oak Mountain area who were in the middle of double trouble.
They contacted Archadeck Outdoor Living of Birmingham because they had an old pressure-treated wooden deck that needed replacement – but here’s where the double comes in -- the new deck footprint needed to fall within the updated zoning specifications of the neighborhood.
This entailed implementing setback requirements since the footprint of the previous deck was over allowances. Archadeck of Birmingham came up with a sleeker, more elongated design than that of the previous deck, which works our just perfectly from a spatial and aesthetic perspective!
The end result is a stunningly expansive new outdoor living deck with a unique long design which features a level change where this TimberTech deck builder added beautifully functional bench seating and stairs. The new design transitions down to a second lower level deck at the swimming pool level.
Adding to the drama of the new deck design is the fact that the new outdoor living pool deck structure encompasses both sides of the pool for a breathtaking backyard vista.
This Archadeck of Birmingham special deck build was engineered to accent and contrast the exterior aesthetics of the home.
To add privacy and panache, fashionable hog wire fence panels were installed on one side, blocking any undesired visibility outside of the home’s confines.
