Designing a porch and deck

This old deck needed an upgrade but these homeowners wanted to add a structure that would allow them to utilize their space year-round. Together we designed a deck and porch combination project that allowed for both year-round enjoyment, open-air enjoyment, and plenty of space for gathering with friends and family. Once the design was solidified, we worked on selecting materials.

This project features a stunning 3-season room equipped with Eze-breeze 4-track windows. These windows create a versatile porch allowing you to control the airflow. They are easy to clean, repair, and custom built for your porch. These clients chose TimberTech decking in the shade of Dark Cocoa to create a timeless and clean look. They decided on a hybrid rail system of composite decking and wood rails to cut costs and allow you to choose from a wider range of rail stains. This project also features an English square lattice at the bottom of the deck to create a clean and charming finish.
A key part of our process is understanding how you want to use your outdoor space. We ask questions, share photos, and discuss what you like and don’t like to get a clear understanding of your expectations.
