One of the biggest blessings in business is to get referrals from satisfied clients. And Archadeck of Fort Wayne is very fortunate in that regard.
A great source for referrals for Archadeck are the front yard signs we post on the lawns of homes where we have construction in the works. Which leads us to the idyllic location of Lake Gage, at the water’s edge.
IT PAYS TO ADVERTISE WHEN YOU’RE THE FINEST OUTDOOR LIVING BUILDER
Having discovered our outdoor living structure designs on our website, this Lake Gage family contacted us for a free, no-obligation design consultation. They were so impressed with the quality of our work as seen in our photo gallery – and rave reviews from our clients in the greater Fort Wayne area – that they gave us the honor of creating the outdoor living space they have always wanted.
As construction began, we placed an Archadeck yard sign in front of the home to inform the neighborhood that work was in progress. It’s good business to do this in the rare event of someone being slightly inconvenienced by one of our vehicles on the street, so they know there is a justified reason for it being there.
One of our new client’s neighbors saw the Archadeck brand sign, spoke to our client for a recommendation, and before we knew it, we were building a new outdoor living space in the neighbor’s backyard, too.
THE FINEST LAKE GAGE MAINTENANCE DECKS CARRY THE ARCHADECK OUTDOOR LIVING BRAND INSIGNIA
Well, for starters, this Lake Gage lakeside home is truly magnificent in every way possible. The majestic three-story structure sits right at the water’s edge. The only obstacle was the long run of stairs to get down to the lake from the lower level of the home. The homeowners wanted to eliminate that tedious run of stairs by tastefully and strategically breaking up the cascade of steps into an access path that was more manageable and safer.
For further convenience in accessing the lake, we also added a seating deck area halfway down the incline, knowing that it would serve the homeowner well.
Archadeck of Fort Wayne came up with a design that would meet and go beyond the functionality objectives, and we did the heavy lifting – both literally and figuratively. Case in point is we had to deal with clearing the way for zoning and addressing the setbacks from the lake and property sides.
OUTDOOR LIVING BEAUTY AND FUNCTION GO HAND IN HAND
At the very base of the stairs, we expanded the lower-level deck making the area larger and more functional. We also created a stairway that descended into a mid-level seating area and another set of stairs down to the lake area. Beauty and functionality working hand in hand here.
To more easily reach the water from the backyard, we created a stunning paver walkway from the end of the stairway down to the pier and to the seawall. With varying tones of beach gray, sand and the reflective tones of nature, the herringbone design placement of the pavers is edged with a fluid border of horizontal stonework.
For safety as well as accessibility, we installed vertical railing across the lake view side of the deck. Tuscany rail was used on the other descending areas.
To ensure long-term low maintenance, AZEK Vintage decking was used for the structure, accented by Magena Star® LED low voltage post lighting for efficiency and sustainability, manufactured specifically for Westbury railing posts.
To finish the strong aesthetics of the design, skirting was installed under the deck structure. And the material used for the fluid hardscape was premium Belgard Dublin Cobble.
