With careful forethought and meticulous planning of how the family wanted to use their backyard, our design team led by local owner, Craig Whitman, knocked it out of the park, to borrow an outdoor phrase.

What was there when we first arrived on site was a small wooden deck with the stone steps you see pictured which led into the rear lawn.
Our redesign plan was to reimagine the yard to literally create an entire backyard recreational space for this Leo, IN, family that includes a low-maintenance AZEK deck thoughtfully constructed using AZEK's Vintage decking collection in a combination of the colors English Walnut and Weathered Teak.

For the finishing touch surrounding the new Leo, IN, deck installation, we chose to accent and protect the perimeter of the new outdoor space with a black Westbury aluminum rail topped with a composite cap.

To add depth and dimension to the transformed backyard, we expanded the family’s livable outdoor leisure area with a handsome, sturdy pavilion, crafted pergola style.
Emanating from it, notice the beautiful mosaic of Belgard hardscape pavers in a wavy circuitous pattern design to accentuate the visual flow of the vast rear landscape.
With a new Belgard paver gas firepit at its center, the new hardscape patio space features a combination partial privacy wall and bar with built-in fireside seating below.
We love the way the darker pavers outline the patio perimeter, ever so subtly, with a darker gray tone from the main patio installation.
