On April 8, we introduced this new Archadeck of Kansas City construction project, located in Blue Springs, Missouri. In that blog, we showcased our design plans, renderings, and spoke about the Archadeck process – from design details, to permitting, to the important decision about the porch’s roof connection.
Archadeck of Kansas City’s many years of design and outdoor living building experience is what we speak about most when we highlight a custom project. What did that experience mean for this project in particular? We were not only able to help these homeowners with important design decisions, but our team of builders was able to construct this low-maintenance deck and screened porch in nine business days! Our typical building lead time on a project like this is two to three calendar weeks.
The deck and porch structure gets underway.
Archadeck of Kansas City takes care of all aspects of planning, design, and building our projects. Once we received permitting for this project, our builders got to work with demolition of the old deck and gazebo, and this new outdoor living space began to take shape quickly!
By day’s end, the space was completely decked, the steps were finished, and the structure was ready to proceed to deck railing installation, building the porch walls, and getting the space under roof! Archadeck of Kansas City is an adept outdoor living General Contractor, who will work to keep your project on schedule. Our builders are wise to upcoming potential weather delays and will work to the best of their ability to continue with work even on inclement weather days. For a porch project, this might mean completing as much exterior work as possible before inclement weather arrives, and then performing interior work during inclement weather to keep your project moving!
