We want to reassure any homeowners who might feel intimidated by the idea of using “virtual” technology for this meeting. We understand that some may be reluctant to use unfamiliar technology for a virtual meeting. If you haven’t used your computer for a meeting like this, don’t worry – we have enough experience for the both of us. We will put you at ease. If you don’t have a computer or truly can't work a computer, we will conduct the consultation via an extensive phone call.

The biggest benefit for you is convenience. You will be able to meet with us in the comfort of your home, and there is no pressure on you to “figure it out.” We create a relaxed atmosphere for you where you can ask any questions you may have. When we meet with you, virtually, to discuss your outdoor living project(s), we have specific objectives to keep the conversation on track. Your Archadeck Design Consultant will be cordial and purposeful because your time is just as valuable as ours. We ask that you allow about 45 minutes for this meeting, and that all decision makers attend the meeting. Because the meeting will take place as we view each other on our computer screens, you don’t even have to be in the same location. If there are two decision makers, you can each attend from different places if that’s how it works out for you. It’s great if you are together when we meet, but it is not necessary – as long as you can both attend at the same time.
Another benefit of the virtual consultation is the information you will gain. By the time our meeting is over, you will have a very good idea about whether Archadeck of Nashville is the right fit for your project. You will be able to ask us your questions about project designs and materials. Once we have a clear idea of the project you have in mind, we can even give you an idea of what it might cost.

How to Schedule a Virtual Design Consultation with Archadeck of Nashville
Unlike the traditional way of setting up a meeting, our process requires no back-and-forth trail of phone messages and voicemails. Instead, once you contact us for information, we will send you an email that contains a link for scheduling. When you open the email and click on that link, you will see the time slots available, and you can select the one that is best for you. Done! Our meeting date and time is set.
Prior to our virtual meeting, we will send you another email with a link for the meeting itself. A few minutes before the scheduled meeting time, you can sit down at your computer and click on that link to log in.
How to Prepare for Your Virtual Design Consultation
Once your virtual design consultation is scheduled, we will send you an email with details about how to prepare for the meeting. The information we request in advance will help us visualize the project you are considering at your home. We would like to see a minimum of 5 photographs that, together, capture the entire area where you want to build. These photos should be taken from a position at least 40 feet away from your house and show roof lines and elevations, if possible.
Again, there is technology involved. You can take these photographs with your smartphone and text them to us, or email them. If you sometimes use your phone for email, you shouldn’t have a problem with this step. If it seems daunting, ask a grandchild or a friend’s child how to email your photos to us. Alternatively, you could upload the photos to your computer and email them to us using the computer.
In addition to photos, loose measurements of the outdoor space are always helpful, too, and will allow us to give more accurate estimates. Also, if you have a copy of your plat plan, please email that to us as well. Plat plans are sometimes available in PDF format. If you need to generate a PDF of your plat plan, there are several service providers who can help you do that. You don’t even need to know exactly what “PDF” means! The folks at FedEx Office, a UPS Store or an office supply store like Staples or Office Depot will be glad to help you.
