Why so much lead time? We need time to talk about the space you want and to go through a couple of design iterations, if needed. When you are happy with our custom design for your project, and sign a contract with us, we can add your project to our construction schedule. As you probably know, all reputable builders will already have other projects underway. While we’re finishing up projects ahead of yours, we’ll get your building permits and order the materials for your job. If you need to present your plans to your HOA, that could also take some time, depending on how frequently they meet. Throw in a couple of New England weather-related delays, and you can see why we recommend allowing plenty of lead time. There is no harm in calling Archadeck too early, but calling us too late could delay your family’s plans for spring – or even summer. Don’t wait until too late!
