The number of Boston-area companies allowing flexible working options include Aquent, Beacon Hill Staffing, Boston Scientific, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Wayfair – among many others.
Those looking for new remote working spaces in their backyards are most interested in screened porches and 3-season and 4-season rooms.
With a screened porch, the benefit is fresh air with protection from the elements overhead. If it rains, so be it.
With a 3-season room and 4-season room, the versatility of the outdoor space increases exponentially, especially when workers are heavy Zoom and webcast users where peripheral noise is a distraction and an obstruction to work productivity.
2. Structured Outdoor Rooms: For those looking for functionally innovative and multi-purpose home improvements, outdoor rooms across the board are in high demand.
