Composite and PVC Decks

Composite (or synthetic decks) are a top choice here in NE Massachusetts and throughout the country. Wood is a traditional material for decks but can encompass issues without proper routine maintenance. These include warping, cupping, splitting, fading and a number of other issues. Composite decks are low maintenance and perform better than pressure-treated wood. They will not warp, cup, split, or fade. However, low maintenance does not mean “no” maintenance, as a composite deck will still need to be cleaned and spills addressed in a timely fashion to keep them in optimal condition.
