Dallas Poolside Outdoor Living Updates Galore!
When we met with these Dallas homeowners, the had an existing pool house and covered patio on the back of their home. Although the space they had was quite lovely, they wanted more versatility in their space. They longed for not only an updated poolside area, but one that offered varied function. Archadeck was able to come up with a custom design that spoke to all their needs and desires.
Along with an updated pool surround, we also added a covered pergola with an outdoor fireplace and integrated seating – and yes, an expansive outdoor kitchen, too!
The integrated outdoor kitchen makes poolside entertaining a breeze with a grill, warming drawers, fridge and convenient trash receptacle built right in. We love the way the homeowners added basket storage drawers as part of the final design – so convenient and on trend!
Covered Patio and Outdoor Kitchen with Bar Seating in Plano, TX
This project is a perfect example of a successful marriage of a covered patio with an outdoor kitchen. When these clients contacted Archadeck of Northeast Dallas-Southlake they had a rather barren pool surround and outdoor living area. Their grill and smoker were located off the small, existing back covered area against their house wall. Their goal was to create a shaded, relaxing retreat for poolside fun and outdoor entertaining.
Archadeck came up with the perfect covered patio and outdoor kitchen to meet their needs! Giving the space an entire new facet of functionality, we installed a 15-foot L-shaped outdoor kitchen to the space. The outdoor kitchen features a base made from Granbury chopped stone with a smooth Lueders stone countertop. There are so many ways to outfit an outdoor kitchen these days … be sure to notice the silver box built into the end of the counter. It is actually a paper towel holder. Homeowners have a diverse array of options to add to an outdoor kitchen.
Southlake Custom Deck, Outdoor Kitchen and More
This outdoor kitchen in Southlake, TX , is part of another outdoor living combination, but this one features a low-maintenance pool deck. The homeowners wanted a way to increase the benefits of their backyard pool, and instead of the traditional patio surround, they opted for a gorgeous composite deck. Before we started the project, the clients had no defined outdoor living space prior to this huge project. Apart from installing the in-ground pool, the concrete pool surround and the pool area gate, we handled the entire project.
The design includes a tiered deck that surrounds the pool, along with a custom planter which integrates one of the trees within the landscape . On the opposite end of the deck from the pool we added a custom outdoor kitchen built using chopped Oklahoma stone and featuring an 8” custom stone backsplash area. We also left a space in the outdoor kitchen specifically for the homeowners’ grill.
Detached Covered Porch in Dallas
Some of our projects encompass areas of a property that is away from the immediate are of the home. Many homeowners want a designated outdoor living space such as a covered patio, porch or pavilion built away from the home – these are called detached outdoor structures. This all-inclusive project in Dallas is just this kind of space.
This custom Dallas backyard cabana features a gable with hip roof, as well as an attached shed roof atop the eat-in space. The structure boasts separate areas for cooking, eating, and TV viewing and conversation. These homeowners can host outdoor dinner parties, without relying one iota on interior kitchen or dining amenities. The kitchen area includes a Turbo grill and freezer with stainless steel accessories, such as a towel holder and access panel with drawers. The kitchen is outfitted with extra electrical outlets for added convenience.
