In Timberlea, just outside Halifax, these homeowners needed to replace their outdated deck. We created a pressure-treated, multi-level wrap-around deck and an all season-sunroom. Now the family can enjoy their beautiful property any time of year.
The new deck wraps around the front of the home and sunroom addition. A privacy/safety fence was placed around the perimeter of the new lap-pool using horizontal slats for a more modern look and to mimic the lines of the home.
Different levels give the homeowners multiple seating choices to enjoy their morning coffee or lounge by the pool.
A combination of glass panels and black aluminum balusters were added to make sure sight-lines remained open to the wooded property below. Built in planters give the space a nice pop of colour and add visual interest between the levels.
The the top deck has a comfortable and convenient grilling and dining area located just off the kitchen. This level offers perfect views of the pool area and the yard below.
Large windows and doors allow plenty of natural light into the sunroom addition and the rest of the home.
