The homeowners were looking to create their outdoor living dream space just outside of Halifax. They wanted to maximize the use of space while enjoying the stunning water views. Our designers worked closely with the clients to create a truly one-of-a-kind, multi-level deck, screened porch and private curved balcony – to suit all their needs.
The 3-level TimberTech composite deck transitions from dining level to lounging with a fire-feature. Built-in planters soften edges and provide flowery pops of colour. The two-tone deck and railing play up contrasting tones and visual interest. Over-sized, comfortable furniture invite you to relax with a book or a glass of wine and cozy blanket.
We added in-stair lighting to help guide you from each level. These lights are both elegant and helpful. Installed on the risers they blend subtly into the deck. They give a soft ambient glow, lighting the path and making the staircase safe at night.
