This Northwest High Point NC outdoor living space provides the perfect mix of style and function for the whole family to enjoy!
This outdoor living project in Northwest High Point proves having a deck builder, who truly listens to your needs, is important. Listening to your client's specific outdoor living requirements can fulfill their wishes of backyard bliss and will make the entire family happy with the outcome.
When we met with these homeowners they had a small 10′×12′ wooden deck located right off their sunroom. The family was in agreement that they wanted a larger deck so they could enjoy more outdoor living. The husband wanted to extend their existing outdoor living space to accommodate a larger deck, and the wife wanted a new patio with a fire pit. This couple shared the same common goal with two very different paths to achieving it.
NW High Point NC deck – before Archadeck design
Fortunately, we were able to design an outdoor space that would combine each of their visions. We stared by utilizing the existing frame of the old deck which was still in great condition. We used the same footprint and redecked it using low maintenance AZEK in Morado. We also designed a lower level deck with built-in bench seating which leads to a stamped concrete patio complete with a stamped concrete fire pit. Both of the materials we used in this project are considered low maintenance. AZEK decks will look great for years and years to come and are also stain, split and scratch resistant. AZEK is also mold and mildew resistant and impervious to problems that can arise from insects. Hardscape mediums, such as stamped concrete also require little care, making this a worry-free backyard!

The finished project not only gives this Northwest High Point family the best of both worlds, it dramatically changes the rear of their home. The new deck and patio space invites you into the bi-level deck and patio in a way that unified their landscape. The design opens up the entire backyard. The homeowners will also be able to spend more time enjoying their new outdoor space rather than worrying about constant maintenance. This means the homeowner’s will be able to “have their cake and eat it too”; and who doesn’t like cake?
