We follow a collaborative design process based on years of experience. We don’t tell you what kind of deck you need, or how big your 3-season room should be. We ask you what you have in mind, what you want in an outdoor living space, and that’s just the starting point. When we ask how you plan to use your new porch or deck, or porch and deck combination, we’re not being nosy. We ask questions because our goal is to build the best possible outdoor room for you.
What differentiates one deck or porch from another? Materials, for starters: wood, composites, vinyl, aluminum and screening of different types, to name a few. Your personal design aesthetic. Style of railings and width of stairs. Porch roof type and ceiling height. The scale of your home and your spatial requirements.
