We topped off the low-maintenance qualities by using an aluminum rail whereas the original deck featured wood. The new rail not only looks the part, but it will also require little to no upkeep on the part of the homeowner — another win/win!

The design of the updated deck features a modification of the existing footprint as we removed a ramp and existing stairs. The update features sweeping wraparound stairs that opened up the entire backyard as well as the corner of the deck. The homeowners love the new look, and flow, of the space!
